Unyime Eyoh RN, MSN, FNP-C.

Unyime Eyoh is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has been inducted to the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for academic distinction. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from University of Uyo. She also graduated from Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Nursing, graduating as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Her work experiences include being a charge nurse at Greenhills Rehabilitation Center, Nashville and Primary Nurse at Friendship Home Health Care, Nashville. At Friendship Home Health Care, she was the first to receive the company’s outstanding service and dedication award. Unyime joined Internal Medical Associates as a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

She is very passionate about all her patients. For the elderly, she has dedicated herself to reducing excessive polypharmacy and inappropriate prescribing in these patients' population. While working as a registered nurse, she developed wound care protocols based on evidenced-based- research to heal numerous chronic non-healing wounds. She enjoys empowering her patients to maintain healthy lifestyles through patients' education and anticipatory guidance.

She is a member of Bethel World Outreach Center, Brentwood, Tennessee, where she serves in the prayer ministry and leads a life group. She is also the secretary of the Christian Union Fellowship International, an outreach ministry to the low income population in Lebanon, Tennessee.

Unyime was married to Dr. Edet Eyoh who passed in 2002. She now lives with her three beautiful children, Ekom, Akan, and Joshua in Antioch, Tennessee.
